Pair convicted in OOB murder to be sentenced

ALFRED, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The two people convicted of killing an Old Orchard Beach man will be sentenced on Monday.

Darlene George and her brother, Jeffrey Williams, were each found guilty of four counts, including murder.  

Police said they killed George's husband, Winston, at his home in June 2008. His body was found tied up, with a liquor bottle pushed into his mouth.

A third man accused of helping to plot the murder cooperated with prosecutors and testified against the other two suspects.

Darlene George and Jeffrey Williams face at least 25 years in prison at their sentencing in York County Superior Court in Alfred.
