Police arrest a man in connection with OOB murder | News
OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - State Police have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of Roger White over the weekend.
Police say Michael Swenson, 44, was taken into custody at his mother's house in Scarborough without incident.
He is charged with murder.
Swenson will likely make his first court appearance Wednesday or Thursday.
Police say Swenson was friends with White and the two had met at a local bar called The Whaler on Friday night.
Police say Swenson lives in a lean-to along railroad tracks in Old Orchard Beach.
An autopsy on White's body revealed that he died of stab wounds to the neck and chest.
