Amtrak IDs pedestrian killed by Downeaster

BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) - Amtrak has identified the man who was struck and killed by the Downeaster train in Biddeford, Maine.

A spokeswoman says the victim was 40-year-old Sean Page of Biddeford. Page, who reportedly had no identification, was struck Monday while walking on the right of the way.

None of the 55 passengers or crew on Amtrak's Downeaster were injured.

The train was en route from Boston to Portland when the train hit Page. Amtrak, Pan Am Railways and Biddeford police are investigating.
