Fundraiser dance held Saturday for crash victim | News

BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- In November of last year, Alex Paul of Biddeford was involved in a head-on crash, now leaving him a quadriplegic.
Paul was riding his mini bike on Willey Road in the Saco Industrial Park when he rode out to meet some arriving friends. On his way out, a vehicle passing another vehicle struck him head on. He was transported to Maine Medical Center where he spent four weeks in acute care. He has since spent a significant amount of time in rehabilitation at Boston Medical Center.
The accident has left him a quadriplegic and his family facing a tremendous amount of medical bills. Paul now faces a lifetime of rehabilitation.
A St. Patrick's Day dance will be held at the Rochambeau Club at 8pm in Biddeford as a fund-raising event. To buy a ticket for $10, contact Helene Kennedy at helenekennedy118@gmail.com.
