Little Leaguers with disabilities will receive All-Star treatment at Fenway Park

The Little League Challenger players (baseball players with disabilities) from Biddeford, Maine and surrounding towns will receive All-Star treatment at Fenway Park.

The Challenger players will participate in a CVS Caremark All Kids Baseball Camp.  The camp is a joint endeavor between CVS Caremark and the Boston Red Sox, which demonstrates a shared commitment to New England children with disabilities.

The attending Challenger players and their “Buddies” are from the Biddeford Tigers Little League Challenger  team and hail from Biddeford, Dayton, Saco, Kennebunkport and Shapleigh.

The West Biddeford Little League Challenger Division team is one of nine inclusive baseball teams from New England taking part in this season’s CVS Caremark All Kids Can Baseball Camps. At each of the camps players have the opportunity to enjoy:

Hitting tips and instruction in the Red Sox batting tunnel with Red Sox Hitting Coach Dave Magadan,  on-field batting practice with Coach Magadan, a team photo with Coach Magadan in front of the Green Monster, a VIP tour of Fenway Park  and early entry to pre-game Red Sox batting practice are just some of the highlights of the day.

The team will gather at Gate D on Yawkey Way to enter Fenway Park on Friday, July 22nd.
