The 6th Annual Eco Appetito event will be hosted by Lee Skawinski, chef and owner of Vignola Cinque Terre Restaurant in Portland on Sunday, September 15th from Noon – 3pm. 

Eco Appetito is a celebration of Maine foods, desserts and beverages. Chef Lee Skawinski will create a scrumptious menu using food items donated by local vendors including Maine beef, haddock, mussells, cheese, bread, veggies and more!

Event attendees are treated to delicious treats, fantastic silent auction items and entertainment from the staff of Ferry Beach Ecology School.

Tickets are $45 per person in advance or $55 at the door and can be purchased online at www.ecoappetito.org or by calling 207-283-9951. All proceeds from Eco Appetito benefit the Food for Thought program at Ferry Beach Ecology School in Saco.

Ferry Beach Ecology School teaches the science of ecology to elementary and middle school students throughout New England at our ocean side campus on Saco Bay. All lessons are taught outdoors keeping young people active and engaged in the learning process. We celebrate healthy food choices by offering locally grown, organic products in our dining hall as much as possible. We teach food systems in our organic teaching garden and with our onsite compost.
