Community Spirit

As Thanksgiving approaches and we reflect on our own good fortune, we thought it would be an appropriate time to share some information we received regarding the four families in need due to the recent fire in Biddeford.  These families were left with only the belongings they could take when fleeing the burning building.    Please contact the United Way of York County – 985-3359 for further information.

* twin size beds
* dressers or bureaus
* kitchen sets
* living room sets
* Small appliances including 4 toasters, 4 microwaves
* sets of dishes (for four)
* sets of silverware
* sets of pots/pans and cookware
* Multiple sets of towels
* Bedding for full/queen and twin including sheets, blankets and pillows

Christmas in Kennebunk

Join us for the 27th annual 'Christmas in Kennebunk" celebration taking place this year on SATURDAY, November 27th in Kennebunk’s NEW Downtown Plaza!

Gather with us on Main Street in the NEW Downtown Plaza for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Members of the 'Kennebunk High School Chamber Choir" will entertain us with carols until Santa arrives to light the tree at 5:00pm. Local merchants and friends will again be providing lots of FREE refreshments beginning at 4:30pm. Additional music is being provided this year by some local friends of Downtown.

PLEASE NOTE: for safety's sake, a small portion of Main Street will be closed to thru traffic from 4:30pm to 6:00pm by the Kennebunk Police Department. They will be on hand to help direct drivers to alternate routes and parking.

Join the community for one of its warmest traditions.

"Duffy’s Helps Save the Holidays"

Duffy's Tavern & Grill is proud to partner with the Holiday Food Baskets program to help those in need during the holiday season in the Kennebunks.

Each year, the Kennebunk Clergy Association, in conjunction with the Town of Kennebunk, organize Holiday Food Baskets. These food baskets are filled with donated goods, including all the fixings for a family holiday meal. Volunteers from around the Kennebunks team up to compile and deliver the holiday baskets around the Kennebunk area.

This year, Duffy's Tavern & Grill is involving its guests in an attempt to raise money for the holiday basket program. Guests can donate to the food basket program directly through Duffy's. Each time a donation is made, guests will get to put their name on a turkey, which will be posted around Duffy's; the suggested donation is one dollar.
