Mainebiz will host a reception on May 3rd to honor its 2011 Maine Business Leaders of the Year: Fletcher Kittredge, CEO of GWI in Biddeford, represents the large company category; Martin Grimnes, president of Harbor Technologies in Brunswick, represents the small business category; and Andy Shepard, president and CEO of Maine Winter Sports Center in Caribou, represents the nonprofit category.

Carol Coultas, in an interview with Mainebiz on the topic of the three chosen business leaders said, “Our 2011 Business Leaders of the Year have remarkable vision and stamina, qualities that reflect unwavering dedication to the success of their organizations. Those successes enhance Maine’s economy through the very real measures of jobs, taxes and revenues, while simultaneously offering inspiration to Maine’s business community”.    
 
The Business Leaders of the Year reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Woodlands Club in Falmouth. Tickets are $40.
