Plan Your Small Business Saturday Shopping

The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday® is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. On November 26, we're asking millions of people to Shop Smallsm at their favorite local stores and help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be huge.

For every $100 spent at a locally-owned business, $45 stays in the local economy, creating jobs and expanding the city’s tax base. For every $100 spent at a national chain or franchise store, only $14 remains in the community. Shopping locally gives 3 times the benefit to the community!

Below you will find links to the Saco Biddeford Buy Local, the Biddeford Saco Chamber of Commerce and the Mainely Media Site which links you to the Biddeford, Saco, OOB Courier which has a great section on local businesses.  When putting together your holiday shopping list please think of what you can buy locally.

We all win when you shop local.
