York County Shelter Programs Selling Welcome Spring-Happy Easter Baskets

York County Shelter Programs will once again be selling
Welcome Spring and Happy Easter baskets.  Proceeds
from the fundraiser will help support the food pantry and
the meals kitchens that the Shelter operates.
Students from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in
Dover will help assemble the homemade items for
the baskets.  Purchasers of the children's
Easter baskets (which cost $10) should indicate the age
and gender of the young recipient so the prepared basket
will be appropriate. The three choices
of baskets for adults (Decadent, Deluxe, and Healthy
which cost $15)) can be viewed online on the "Welcome Spring/
Happy Easter" webpage on the Shelter's website:
http://www.yorkcountyshelterprograms.org/   Baskets
will be available for pick-up at either the Bakery at
Notre Dame in Alfred or at Shaker Hill Kitchens in Saco
beginning in the afternoon of Friday, April 22.
Donations of crisp cellophane to wrap the baskets,
jelly beans and Easter candy, note cards,
and Easter baskets for the
project will be greatly appreciated.
Please contact Mary Doyle at 324-1137
or by email at: mqdoyle@gmail.com
if you wish to order a basket
or donate materials or baskets.
