KEEP A YEAR'S WORTH OF MEMORIES - Start a new tradition with Family Scrapbooking Night

As 2010 draws to an end, many people will gather to reminisce about the events of the past year.  Frequently, photographs and smiles are shared as  families remember the vacations, holidays, occasions and simple everyday moments that represent the year gone by.  Once we shout, “Happy New Year!” though, what happens to those photos?  With a New Year on the horizon, the old photos are often forgotten.
Instead of filing 2010’s photos on your computer or in a box, many local families are turning them into a new annual tradition!
Thanks to local scrapbooking expert, Tara Travis, they’re now having Family Scrapbooking Nights!
At a Family Scrapbooking Night, families get together with their photos and scrapbooking supplies.  First, they choose the photos they’re going to use.  Then, they design and assemble their pages… together!  This type of event allows families to relive happy memories… and create a few new ones!  Children and adults work as a team to choose colors and designs, and express their creativity.
Family Scrapbooking Nights provide quality, low-cost together-time that parents and children desire and deserve.  Additionally, it gets those photos into a personalized scrapbook!  And for the families making it a monthly event, they may even get caught up on ALL of their boxes of photos!
Tara helps families get started with suggestions for style and direction they can then personalize to their own tastes.  Any local families interested in starting this new tradition in 2011 should contact Tara at 207-590-8631 or tara@stampwithtara.com or, visit her website, www.stampwithtara.com, to view some original scrapbooking ideas
